This short course will introduce you to the principles of robotics.
You will explore the social and ethical impact of robotics and build your own basic robot. You will also have the opportunity to augment and enhance with a range of sensors and peripherals.
There are no entry requirements to enrol on this course.

This course is taught via face-to-face delivery.
You will produce a small portfolio documenting your progress.
You should be confident at reading and understanding technical language, and be confident with numeracy to Level 1/GCSE grade 3.
Lessons will be 3 hours per week on one day per week. In addition, you will need to able to commit to around 3 hours self-directed study per week.
The course will run on Thursday evenings between 6pm-9pm.

– Internet of Things – program a Raspberry Pi Pico device and interact remotely over the Internet
