This course is designed to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the principles of the uniformed services sector and to allow you to explore the various avenues of work within it. You will gain transferable skills that can be applied to the workplace or further study.
The course will give you an understanding of the uniformed public services sector and the career opportunities available. You will gain the ability to prepare for a recruitment interview and gain an understanding of the personal commitment and fitness requirements needed to be employed in a uniformed service role.
You should have a relevant Level 2 qualification.

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
The course will allow learners to progress to employment or further study and towards the entry qualifications and
requirements of a specific uniformed service.
You will study various moudules such as: conflict management and personal protection, emergency planning and response, leadership skills, map reading and navigation, crime scene investigation and equality, diversity and inclusion
You can progress to university or join the armed forces in your chosen field.
