Who is this course for?

This unique course is suitable for anyone who wants to work in the entertainment industry as a supporting artiste/extra.

This course is delivered by industry experts who currently work in the industry, and can give real life examples and work situations.

What do you need to apply for the course?

No previous knowledge/experience necessary, just a passion to work in the industry.

What are the key things you'll learn?

The course covers:

  • Introduction to Television and Film Industry
  • Broadcasting Legislation and Organisations in the Television and Film Industry
  • Audition Techniques
  • Creating a Profile and Self-Marketing Materials

How you will learn

This course will enable all candidates to produce a CV which is appropriate for this industry; they will all create suitable self-marketing materials as required by the sector. Audition techniques, vocal and physical skills and techniques, performance skills and rehearsal process are all included in detail.

All candidates will audition for the Casting Agency, roles and responsibilities and employability skills are also covered.

Where could this course take you?

This is a unique opportunity; working with TICBOX/NE14.TV (Newcastle) to provide bespoke industry training for supporting artistes/extras.

Candidates will not only learn about the industry, roles and responsibilities, but they will also learn performance skills, control and focus; they will apply these skills in an audition and provide the self-marketing tools required to gain employment in the performance industry.

All successful candidates will be recruited by the agency who will work hard to match clients with appropriate jobs to their skills and experience.
