Who is this course for?
The purpose of this qualification is to increase your knowledge and awareness of the Prevent Duty and Safeguarding, and includes online safety. By undertaking this qualification, you will develop knowledge of safeguarding in an environment where you have a duty of care, and is an ideal CPD opportunity.
This qualification is for anyone who has a responsibility for safeguarding children, young people or vulnerable adults. It is ideal for those working with a range of roles including: Nursing, Teaching, Social Care, Uniformed Services, Youth Workers, or for those involved in running or supporting youth sports teams and community groups. It is ideal for if you are considering a career within an education, training, healthcare or the housing sector.

Learners should be aged 19 years and over.

How you will learn
Learners will experience a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies to include individual and group work activities and tasks, essays, leaflets, mini presentations, workshops, booklets, posters and professional discussions.
