If you are uncertain about your college course, don't worry we are here to support you.

Our SWITCH programme allows us to offer you support and reassurance to make sure you are on the right path. We will help you to understand what options are available and will provide guidance on how to switch to a new course.  

Careers Guidance drop in sessions

  • If you are uncertain about your college course, don't worry we are here to assist you. We can help support you in various ways, and depending on what you're currently studying, you may be able to SWITCH to a different course here at Sunderland College.
  • To access our advice and guidance, visit one of our Future Ready Hubs. We are holding drop-in sessions with our Careers Guidance Team from Monday 16th September until Thursday 17th October.
  • These sessions will be held between 9am-4pm at both our Bede and City campuses, Monday-Friday. No booking is required! For more information, please contact guidance@educationpartnershipne.ac.uk.

Switch Process

  • If you know what course you would like to switch to, please speak to your lecturer who will arrange for you to have a discussion with a member of staff from your chosen curriculum area.
  • Come directly to us if you are unsure and require some additional guidance. We are here to help you choose the course for you!
