Who is this course for?
This is a Level 2 course for those who may have completed a Level 1 Floristry or had some prior experience in this area.
What do you need to apply for the course?
There are no formal entry requirements but experience at Level 1 would be useful.

- Extend your knowledge and understanding of the creative craft process.
- Investigate creative enterprise and employment opportunities in the creative sector.
- Extend and further develop your floristry skills.
- Develop your ideas and analytic skills
How you will learn
You will attend weekly sessions, working through a series of practical tasks and techniques, building on each new skill.
You will create a portfolio of work, which is submitted for your final assessment. There is no formal examination but you will have small amounts of homework throughout the course.
Where could this course take you?
On successful completion of the course, you could progress to Level 3/4 Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Sunderland College. It could also give you the skills to set up your own floristry business.
What costs will you incur?
You will be advised at the beginning of the course about the basic course materials and items you will need. A file for keeping your written work or a sketchbook to create a journal is essential.
