Foundation Award in Accounting Software
Who is this course for?
You should be working in accounting & finance or have aspirations to move into this area.
You may be running your own business and want to up-skill to be able to complete computerised accounting tasks yourself.
What do you need to apply for the course?
You should have appropriate Maths and English skills in order to start the course – preferably at L1 or above.
Some knowledge of finance and accounts would be helpful.
What are the key things you'll learn?
You’ll learn practical skills, from using accounting software, entering accounting transactions and producing a range of reports, including:
- Set up accounting software
- Process sales and purchase transactions
- Perform bank and cash transactions
- Perform period end routine tasks
- Produce reports
How you will learn
Practical hands-on learning using actual industry standard accounting software.
There is one final on-line exam which students will have to be successful in to pass the course.
