What’s it all about?

This course is for people that would like to progress their careers but need a GCSE in Maths to get ahead, such as teaching or nursing.

It’s also suitable for anyone wishing to broaden their knowledge and understanding of Maths.

Following on from your offer of a place on the adult GCSE Maths course, you will undertake an assessment in the first two weeks to ensure a we find the right course for you.

There are no entry requirements to enrol on this course, however it would be beneficial if you held a grade 3/ D in Maths or a Level 2 Functional Skills qualification.

There will be an entrance test for all students to assess current abilities

This course is taught through three hours of classroom activity per week. There will also be three hours of home study a week.

The course is assessed through exams at the end of the academic year.
