Marianne studied dance at Sunderland College and progressed to prestigious acting school LIPA. She is now working as a choreographer and dancer in Dubai. She described her experience at college as happy, supportive and fulfilling.
She said:
“I decided to study at Sunderland College as it was important to me to further my education in a more practical way.
The support from staff was excellent, even beyond graduation. The best thing about the course was the variety of classes the course offered as it helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses, and what styles I wanted to pursue in my career.
The campus and atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and focused on always getting the best out of students.
Maths and English are everywhere! They are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and to progress to your dream career. A GCSE Maths and English qualification could be the difference between being accepted onto a university course or getting a job promotion.
