Jack studied acting at Sunderland College and is now studying at the Identity School of Acting in London. He described his experience at college as honest, influential and knowledgeable.
He said:
“I decide to study at Sunderland College to gain a deeper understanding of my chosen subject. The best thing about the course was the attitude of the lecturers.”
Jack progressed to the Identity School of Acting in London and has worked professionally in the industry for a theatre company.
I joined Sunderland College to gain experience to enhance my career prospects, but I never imagined I’d have as many hands-on opportunities as I have.
Performance (Theatre, Voice and Movement)
I’ve had the best time at Sunderland College. There are so many opportunities to practically apply your learning. Through my time at the college I performed in the production of Evita at the Theatre Royal, which was a great opportunity and really brought out my confidence.

I chose to study the BTEC in Performing Arts as I wanted a creative route to studying. I really loved the practical approach the course offered, especially the workshops which gave a real insight into how the industry works for West End actors and dancers.
