Hannah described her time at Sunderland College as relaxed, supportive and friendly. She progressed directly from the College onto the University of Surrey where she is continuing her studies to become a Vet.
She said:
“I chose Sunderland College as the timetable was flexible and fitted around my other commitments. What I liked best was that College was a more relaxed atmosphere than school, and the timetable was suited to me.
In terms of the College facilities and atmosphere, St Peter’s campus had a tight knit community and everyone was very friendly. My favourite thing about the A-Level course was the amount of support offered to the students.
The College allowed me to me to re-sit my first year after I received slightly disappointing grades in my initial exams. Upon re-taking the first year, I successfully gained the grades I needed at A2-Level to progress to Veterinary School.”
Hannah is now completing her degree in Veterinary Medicine and Science at the University of Surrey
