Tamara described Sunderland College as fun, interesting and educational. During her time at the college she studied a Level 3 Apprenticeship in Catering. She moved into full time employment as a junior chef after leaving Sunderland College.
She said:
“I chose Sunderland College because it was close to home.
My favourite part of the course was the practical element, it really helped me to gain the skills I needed to gain a career in the catering industry.
I also enjoyed being able to eat what I had made!”
Tamara is now a full-time commis chef at Raithwaite Hall Whitby
