Marc had been a promising A-level student when he was diagnosed with Leukaemia and had to leave his studies to under-go treatment. While in remission he heard a radio advert for Higher Education at Sunderland College, applied for a course and has never looked back. He hopes to complete his top up year at university before getting a job working in digital forensics.

Mugove came to England from Zimbabwe to work as a Support Worker and wanted to enhance his skills with a stepping stone to a degree course. He enrolled at Sunderland College after hearing it provided a natural progression route to degrees at university.
