Kristin described her time at Sunderland College as fun, motivating and interesting.
During her time at the college, Kristin won a Young Achiever’s Award, which celebrates the outstanding contribution made by young people in all aspects of life, for Outstanding Academic Achievement.
Speaking about her time at Sunderland College, she said:
“The support I’ve throughout my time at Sunderland College has been brilliant. The lecturers are really motivating and I have had so much support. You also have more freedom for independent study than you do at school, which really prepares you for university.”
Kristin, who is the first person in her family to go to university, achieved an A* in Biology, A in Chemistry, A in Maths and is now progressing to Oxford University to study Medicine.
I chose Sunderland College as it would give me the A-Levels needed to study at University. The teachers were friendly and approachable, and always willing to help.
