This course has been developed in consultation with teachers and industry professionals to ensure that it supports progression to further study or training at level 3. These consultants have ensured that the content is consistent with current industry practice, providing you with a foundation in the skills needed to progress to further education with an understanding of industry and the roles and opportunities available to you.

You will learn through mostly practical lessons and will be internally assessed some of the units are theory based and written work supports the practical assessments.
English and maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
