Careers Information, Advice and Guidance

Our Matrix-accredited College Careers Guidance Service is a free confidential and impartial service available to all prospective and current students. We can assist you in your decision making with regard to courses, career development and change or progression from existing studies.

All of our College Careers Guidance Officers are all fully qualified and experienced guidance practitioners and can help advise you through the various options available to you including:

  • Course choice (16-19, Adult and Higher Education) and career change
  • Employment and progression opportunities and job seeking skills
  • CV writing, interview techniques and application advice
  • Apprenticeships and training opportunities
  • Labour Market Information (LMI)
  • Professional qualifications and postgraduate study
  • Referral to other services, if appropriate, with your consent
