This course if for people with an interest in HR who would like to move in to the industry or are currently working in an HR support role and would like to develop their knowledge and skills and work towards professional membership.
New CIPD qualifications are being introduced in 2021. Based on the new Profession Map, the qualifications focus on the knowledge and behaviours required to create value and make an impact in the changing world of work.
The new qualifications set the standard for people professionals and we have been approved to offer these from September.
Although no formal qualifications are required you will need an interest in human resources.
You will learn through a combination of lectures, seminars, activity workshops, role play and practical tasks.
You will study the following core units:
- Business Culture and change in context
- Principles of analytics
- Core behaviours for people professionals
- Essentials of people practice
After successfully completing this course you will have a CIPD qualification that can enhance your career opportunities in the HR industry. Depending on your progress at Level 3, you will be considered to progress to the Level 5 CIPD Diploma in Human Resource Management, at Sunderland College.
