To apply for this course you must have completed level 2 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principals Diploma.

You will learn the theory of motor vehicle diagnostics in the classroom and get practical knowledge in our workshop gaining workplace experience. You will be assessed through coursework and take an online test.
English and maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE maths and/or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
On this course you will learn key diagnostic procedures for: Vehicles and the associated systems engine, transmission, brakes, steering, electrical and how to inspect vehicles in compliance with VOSA standards.
After you have completed this course you will be able to progress to a career in the motor vehicle industry or move onto a level 4 qualification.
