You will need to have a real interest in the industry and be knowledgeable about its technology. You will also need to have excellent maths and IT skills, good communication skills, the ability to problem solve with a good attention to detail.
You'll study this subject full-time at City Campus or as an apprenticeship and will have access to our state-of-the-art workshop with electrical/ hydraulic two post vehicle lifts and scissor lifts, tyre changing area, MOT test bay, petrol and diesel emission testing, diagnostic equipment, full range of portable vehicle lifting and supporting equipment, wide range of high-quality general tooling and industry-standard spray booths including computer controlled drying speeds for both water and solvent paints.
