Emma described her time at Sunderland College as supportive, flexible and friendly. Along with supporting teaching and learning in schools, she has also completed counselling level 2 and understanding stewarding and spectator events which helped her to widen her knowledge and skillset.
She said:
“I joined Sunderland College as I wanted to start the journey toward a new career.
I found that the atmosphere was very friendly and studying here allowed me great flexibility to learn at my own pace with a huge about of support from staff.
The course has given me the confidence I needed to believe in myself and believe that anything is possible.”
Emma has plans to work with children of all ages to help give them the tools and support they need to better themselves.
