Martins described Sunderland College as friendly, supportive and motivating. He participated in UKMT challenge while at the College, as well as completing a Duke of Edinburgh award. He now studies Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bath.
He said:
“I initially decided to study at Sunderland College because I had heard fantastic feedback from previous students.
The things I liked best about the College were the individual approach of the staff and the continuous student support. This was demonstrated whilst giving students enough freedom to tailor study schedules to what works best. The College definitely had a friendly attitude in terms of both the academic and social sides of College life.
The facilities at Sunderland were great, and I was lucky enough to join the newest campus, which featured modern studying and socialising areas.”
