Sunderland College is enhancing its careers support for students with the launch of an on-site digital careers hub.
The new ‘Create Careers’ facility, located in the college’s Learning Centre at Bede Campus, will provide students with an interactive one-stop shop to explore careers, search for part-time jobs, access UCAS support, book career and guidance appointments and access employability skills development.
Sheree Rymer, Faculty Director for Creative, Digital and Computing at Sunderland College, said:
“I’m delighted to be officially opening our new virtual careers hub this month, which will further support students in preparing for their future careers and accessing an exciting range of online tools, digital resources and opportunities.
“Our Student Services team will be continually updating and improving the facility to ensure it provides students with access to the latest careers information and support.”
Create Career will be open at Bede Campus from 13 October. Staff and students can drop-in anytime during the Learning Centre’s opening hours.
