Former music student Alex Shenton-Parkin, revisited Sunderland College to inspire the next generation of music students.
Alex is moving to Australia to work as a Production Manager for an internationally-renowned touring theatre company. Before he left on his exciting new journey, he came into the College to deliver a masterclass to foundation degree music technology students, and provided them with an insight into employability within creative arts.
Sheree Rymer, Curriculum Manager for Creative Arts at Sunderland College, said:
“It is fantastic to see our students returning to where their career started. Alex wanted to give something back to the College before moving to Australia. This has been an inspirational visit for both staff and students and we wish Alex well in his future career.”
Sunderland College has appointed a new Faculty Director to lead its Digital and Creative provision into an exciting and ambitious future.
