Who is this course for?

This course is for school leavers with a desire to learn about the travel and tourism industry.

What do you need to apply for the course?

There are no formal requirements for entry onto the qualification; just a positive attitude and a desire to learn about the industry.

What are the key things you'll learn?

You will learn a variety of things about the industry including UK and Worldwide destinations, customer service, planning an itinerary and how to provide the best information to clients. You will also learn about the roles of different people within the industry and the possible career opportunities.

How you will learn

You will learn by a mixture of classroom teaching, practical demonstrations, trips, visits and guest speakers. You will be assessed by written assignments as well as some multiple choice tests.

Where could this course take you?

When you complete your level one certificate, you could progress onto the level two extended certificate and then the level three diploma. You will also have an opportunity to study Cabin Crew as part of your level three programme.
