Who is this course for?

This course is for people who have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, it is preferable (but not compulsory) to be working as a Teaching Assistant in a school or college setting.

What do you need to apply for the course?

Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3 and maths and English qualifications (either A-C pass or equivalent Functional Skills level 2 qualifications)

Enabling individuals to learn

How to improve children’s mental health and well-being

Working with others to support children with additional needs and disabilities

Working with families and other professionals

Implementing change in a school or college setting

How you will learn

The five units are presented as written coursework and the final unit is a research project, which you will plan and implement with support.
