Jack described his apprenticeship as the perfect platform to prepare him for a successful career. He really enjoys the fact his apprenticeship doesn’t restrict him in terms of which career path he will progress to and that he can learn both theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the job.
He said:
“The best part of my apprenticeship is the fact that I get to complete nationally recognised qualifications and receive invaluable experience, all whilst being paid. This means that I won’t be weighed down by any tuition fees or student debts when I finish my training.
I also enjoy the sense of having an important role within my company as I work alongside experienced staff on interesting projects around the factory.
It is the best career choice I have made for myself and I do not regret my decision at all.”
Jack has plans to complete his apprenticeship up to HNC standard and gain a job within Connor Solutions or move onto study a degree in Engineering at university.
Maths and English are everywhere! They are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and to progress to your dream career. A GCSE Maths and English qualification could be the difference between being accepted onto a university course or getting a job promotion.
