The Housing Innovation and Construction Skills Academy (HICSA) is a ground-breaking facility that will educate, train, and upskill local people to build, retrofit and create innovative factory-built homes.
Featuring a full-sized building, classrooms, and workshops, HICSA will be the home to a range of construction courses and qualifications, as well as the Gentoo Trades Academy for 14-16-year-olds and the North East’s Retrofit Training Academy CIC.
